USING SIEMENS ISA-BOARD WITH EMC

Copy following files to floppy:

siemens.ini	INI-file used to configure the card
siemens.run	Script used to run emc with siemens-card
siemens.o	Kernel-module
siemensmod.o	Kernel-module
1st_working_emc_module.tar.gz	Whole source, 1st working version

Insert the floppy to the machine running EMC
Open console (click on black computer-icon on the bottom of the screen)
Write following commands to the console (ENTER-after each command):

mount /mnt/floppy
cp /mnt/floppy/siemens*.o /usr/local/emc/plat/rtlinux_3_0/lib/
cp /mnt/floppy/siemens.ini /usr/local/emc/
cp /mnt/floppy/siemens.run /usr/local/emc/
cd /usr/local/emc/
./install_realtime_base 
./siemens.run

Click on "E-Stop" button that it shows "E-Stop Off"
After that, click on "Machine Off"-so that it shows "Machine On"

After that you should be able to issue "normal" EMC-commands.
